Der LIK Verein zur Förderung der weltweiten Fotografie, Kunst und Bildung unterstützt ein Künstler Kollektiv in Andalusien
Der spanische Künstler CACO Gerardo Garcia Avilia initiierte die Öffnung seines Ateliers für ein ausgewähltes Künstlerkollektiv von befreundeten Künstler*innen im andalusischen Dorf Competa.

Gerardos Atelier liegt direkt an der Plaza de la Almijara gegenüber der Kirche in Competa und bietet Raum für sein Atelier und lichtdurchflutete Ausstellungsräume.
Das ehrwürdige Stadthaus bietet neben seinen farbintensiven Werken Platz für die Arbeiten der unweit von Competa lebenden italienischen Künstlerin Rossana Ragusa, Roro, die aus Sizilien in die Axaquira gezogen ist. Während Gerardos Arbeiten von expressiven kraftvoll dynamischen Bildern geprägt ist, sind die Arbeiten von Roro von Fragilität geprägte Werke.

Der LIK Verein zur Förderung der weltweiten Fotografie, Kunst und Bildung unterstützt dieses gemeinsame Projekt durch Gast Ausstellungen internationaler FotokünsterInnen in der Atelier/Galerie CACO. Ebenso stellt der Verein auch die Räumlichkeiten der Galerie LIK in Wien für Exchange Ausstellungen zur Verfügung.

Die Atelier/Galerie CACO in Competa ist ab sofort geöffnet und wird 2023 neben den Werkstätten und Dauerausstellungen auch wechselten Kunstprojekte präsentieren. Wir halten Sie hier über alle Events und Vernissagen hier informieren.
Ebenso werden Sie hier in den nächsten Monaten einiges zu den Werken der Künstler*innen finden.
El artista español CACO Gerardo García Avilia inició la apertura de su estudio a un selecto colectivo de amigos artistas en el pueblo andaluz de Cómpeta.
El estudio de Gerardo está situado directamente en la Plaza de la Almijara, frente a la iglesia de Cómpeta, y ofrece espacio para su estudio y salas de exposición luminosas.
Además de sus obras intensivas en color, la venerable casa adosada ofrece espacio a la obra de Rossana Ragusa, Roro, artista italiana que vive no lejos de Cómpeta y que se ha trasladado a la Axaquira desde Sicilia. Mientras que la obra de Gerardo se caracteriza por imágenes expresivas de gran dinamismo, las obras de Roro se caracterizan por su fragilidad.

La Asociación LIK para la Promoción de la Fotografía, el Arte y la Educación en el Mundo apoya este proyecto conjunto acogiendo exposiciones invitadas de artistas fotográficos internacionales en el estudio/galería CACO. La asociación también pone a disposición los locales de la Galería LIK de Viena para exposiciones de intercambio.
El Atelier/Galerie CACO de Cómpeta ya está abierto y presentará proyectos artísticos cambiantes además de los talleres y exposiciones permanentes en 2023. Aquí le mantendremos informado de todos los actos e inauguraciones.

Spanish artist CACO Gerardo Garcia Avilia initiated the opening of his studio to a select collective of artist friends in the Andalusian village of Competa.
Gerardo's studio is located directly on the Plaza de la Almijara opposite the church in Competa and offers space for his studio and light-flooded exhibition rooms.

In addition to his colour-intensive works, the venerable townhouse provides space for the work of Rossana Ragusa, Roro, an Italian artist who lives not far from Competa and who has moved to the Axaquira from Sicily. While Gerardo's work is characterised by expressive powerfully dynamic images, Roro's works are characterised by fragility.
The LIK Association for the Promotion of Worldwide Photography, Art and Education supports this joint project by hosting guest exhibitions by international photo artists in the CACO studio/gallery. The association also makes the premises of the LIK Gallery in Vienna available for Exchange exhibitions.
